PRODUCT DETAILS
Body heat activated for easier engagement, performance, and patient comfort. Eurotherm archwires have an austenitic start temperature of approximately 19oC and an austenitic finish temperature of approximately 27oC. In layman's terms, the archwire is pliable and deforms easily out of the mouth - making insertion much easier. At mouth temperature it becomes Super-Elastic providing gentle continuous forces.
As Eurotherm arches have approximately 25% less force than the same cross-sectional size in super-elastic wires, it is possible to use rectangular wires much earlier in treatment.
